Chris Foster uses brains and boxing en route to victory at UCC 4
On paper Chris Foster had a very tough striker vs. gappler fight against jiu-jitsu black belt Kevin Roddy at UCC 4 in New Jersey.. In reality it was a very straight forward 30-27 win for the boxer who avoided takedowns and submission attempts.
After defending a few legitimate shots Roddy realized he wasn't going to be able to take Foster down offensively and he resorted to pulling guard. Foster’s cage composure was on full display when he simply walked Roddy to the fence and held him up instead of succumbing to the guard pull attempts.
