John Clarke out; Dan Cramer faces Jeff Nader at Bellator 48
Bellator 48 has undergone one last-second change, but the lineup is again complete with nine contests.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned that John Clarke (8-2 MMA, 0-0 BFC) has been forced to withdraw from the card, and former UFC fighter and undefeated Bellator competitor Dan Cramer (7-2 MMA, 4-0 BFC) will now face Jeff Nader (4-4 MMA, 0-0 BFC).
Bellator 48 takes place Aug. 20 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. A four-fight main card airs on MTV2.
Cramer vs. Nader takes place on the evening's un-aired preliminary card.
"Scary Nickname" Nader, who obviously has a sense of humor, looks to snap a two-fight losing streak. The six-time Reality Fighting veteran has gone winless in 2011, falling short to both Todd Chatelle and Alexandre Moreno.
Three of Nader's four career wins have come via TKO.
Meanwhile, Cramer looks to extend a three-fight win streak. The American Top Team product remains perfect under the Bellator banner and is 6-1 in his past seven overall contests.
